When I was a child the dramatic and exciting stories of the Hindu Gods enthralled me; they are tales of Gods and Demons, of Love and Death, of infinite Time and Space, of meditation and wrath.
Alongside this, the comic books I read when I was growing up have a visual language which conveys the drama of the stories. These really excited me and later inspired me as an artist.
I was inspired to ‘re design’ the Gods and re imagine their stories in a modern / futuristic / universal setting.
