Digital Deities Workshops. Learn how to create fantastic 3-dimensional images.
6 workshops for 14 -18 years old, led by Sumit.
Lanternhouse in partnership with Art Locates Me will be running a series of digital workshops for young people.
The 6 workshops will build up knowledge and skills to enable participants to create their own 3D creature or image.
Participants will need intermediate computer knowledge, e.g. experience of using Photoshop, and participants will be expected to attend all 6 workshops in order to gain fully from the experience. We are looking for committed and talented young people to apply for a place as places are limited.
The workshops will be led by our artist in residence Sumit Sarkar. (Sumit’s own work will be on display in the Ananta exhibition.) Sumit will teach participants how to use Blender software in order to create 3D images, similar to the images he has created in the exhibition.
The workshops will take place between 6:00pm – 8:30pm on the following dates:
They'll take place at Lanternhouse, Ulverston.
Contact Lanternhouse to find out how to apply.

Great fun for all ages. All workshops are free. Get to see the fabulous exhibition, and visit our Resource Room. See some amazing digital art, and learn more about the Hindu faith.
